

The Ice Cream Process
We take pride in using only the highest quality and locally sourced ingredients to create our award-winning ice creams.
At Patagonia Chocolates, we make our ice creams, sorbets and gelatos using the finest locally sourced ingredients - seasonal fruits, fresh milk and cream, and our house-made ingredients, such as our Dulce de Leche.
Using influence from our South American and Italian roots, we've created 20 flavours of ice cream by hand using real ingredients that are mixed in by hand. We create our own takes on classic flavour, such as Argentinian cream and house-made dulce de leche mixed with chocolate covered Hokey Pokey pieces to make our Tramontana, or Cherries and Cream Gelato using fruit from our Central Otago orchard.
Our crunchy waffle cones are made fresh every day by hand. Once the batter is made by hand, we press and roll the waffles. Each cone is filled with chocolate while the waffle is still warm - making sure everything down to the last mouthful is as good as the first.
All our ice cream flavours are available in-store, alongside our five flavours of ice cream sticks and indulgent chocolate fountains to take your ice cream to the next level of decadence.
You can also pick your favourite flavours in store to take away, or order from a selection of sizes of pre-packaged ice creams.
